Has anyone ever had a 2 1/2 year old be their ring bearer?

If you have, how did it go? Any tips on making sure the ring bearer walks all the way down the aisle with the pillow? I was thinking we’d practice a lot, and the flower girl will be older, almost 7 …so maybe she can help him? And maybe his mom can be at the end of the aisle if neccesary…any tips are appreciated!

We had the father direct him to start down the isle and the mother was setting in one of the front rows of the isle on the end so he could see her. We also practiced a lot. He did fine. He tossed the pillow at one point but picked it up. And then ran down the isle. It was cute. I suggest not putting the real wedding rings on the pillow and using fake rings.
